Individual admission costs JPY 500 for adults and senior high-school students, and JPY 300 for primary and junior high-school students.
Opening hours
Opening hours are 09:00–17:00 in April–November, with last admission at 16:30, and 09:00–16:30 in December–March, with last admission at 16:00.

Walk about 15 minutes from Kakunodate Station to Kawarada House at 角館町東勝楽丁9. If continuing from Aoyagi, check the route and time between the houses separately.
Before you visit
Closed over New Year
The facility is closed from 28 December to 4 January. Check each facility’s last admission if combining houses. Kawarada stops admitting visitors 30 minutes before closing.
