Admission
Individual admission is JPY 1,650 for adults and JPY 820 for primary and junior high school pupils. The official English guide defines children as ages 6–15. Admission includes the Pearl Museum, memorial hall and ama demonstration; aquarium-only admission is separate.
Opening hours and closed days
From 19 September to 12 October 2026, hours are 09:00–17:30, with ticket sales until 16:30. From 13 October to 26 November, hours are 09:00–17:00, with ticket sales until 16:00. From 27 November to 22 December, hours are 09:00–16:30, with ticket sales until 15:30. From 23 to 31 December, hours are 09:00–17:00, with ticket sales until 16:00. Ticket sales end 60 minutes before each day’s closing time.

Ama demonstration sessions and ticket deadline
Check the day’s ama sessions first if you want to watch. They do not start automatically when you enter, so decide whether to see exhibitions before or after your chosen session. Ticket sales end 60 minutes before closing.
