Permanent exhibitions cost JPY 840 general or JPY 470 for university students with student ID. Senior high school students, visitors under 18 and primary/junior high school pupils are free. How to get to Lake Biwa Museum
At JR Kusatsu west-exit stand 2, take an Ohmi bus to the museum. Alight after roughly 25 minutes and walk in. Adult fares are JPY 480 one way or JPY 960 return, separate from admission. Check both journey times together.
