Admission
Individual admission costs JPY 100 for general visitors and JPY 50 for senior high school and university students. Junior high school pupils and younger children enter free.
Opening hours and closed days
Open 09:00–17:00, with last admission at 16:30. Closed Mondays, or the following day when Monday is a public holiday. Also closed on the fourth Friday unless it is a public holiday, and from 29 December to 3 January.

How to get to Kawagoe Castle Honmaru Goten
From Kawagoe or Hon-Kawagoe Station, take a Tobu bus via Kuranomachi to Satsunotsuji, then walk about ten minutes. Alternatively, walk about one minute from Eagle Bus’s museum and art museum stop, or the Tobu bus or shuttle’s museum-front stop. Bus fares are separate from admission.
