Admission
Exhibition admission costs JPY 500 for adults or JPY 100 for primary, junior and senior high school pupils. Papermaking costs an extra JPY 500; participating adults pay reduced admission of JPY 400, totalling JPY 900. Viewing-only visitors do not pay activity fees.
Opening hours and closed days
The museum opens from 09:00–17:00. It closes on Mondays, or the following day if Monday is a public holiday, and from 27 December–4 January. A renovation closure is planned from 16 November 2026–31 March 2027.
