Standard admission costs JPY 520, or JPY 420 for groups of 20 or more. Junior high school pupils and younger enter free. The History Museum joint ticket also costs JPY 520. Check official conditions for discounts when presenting ropeway or local facility tickets, and for disability and companion reductions.

The Film Museum opens from 10:00 to 18:00, with entry until 17:30. It closes on Tuesdays, or the next day if Tuesday is a public holiday, and from 28 December to 3 January. Severe weather can cause temporary closure.
