Individual admission costs JPY 310 for adults, JPY 150 for senior high school and university students and visitors aged 65 and above, and JPY 100 for primary and junior high school pupils. The adult rate for groups of 20 or more is JPY 200.

Open 09:00–16:30 from March to October, with last admission at 16:00. From November to February, open 09:00–16:00, with last admission at 15:30. Closed Thursdays, except public holiday Thursdays. Avoid 29 December–3 January and temporary closures for exhibition preparation too.

Walk about 45 minutes from Omiya Station via Hikawa Shrine, the park and bonsai village; allow extra time for visits and rests. By train, the museum is about five minutes on foot from Toro Station’s east exit or ten minutes from Omiya-Koen Station.
