Admission

Individual admission is ¥310 for adults, ¥150 for high school and college students and visitors age 65 and older, and ¥100 for elementary and junior high school students. Adult groups of 20 or more pay ¥200.

Opening hours

The museum is open 9:00 AM–4:30 PM March–October, with admission until 4:00 PM, and 9:00 AM–4:00 PM November–February, with admission until 3:30 PM. It closes Thursdays but is open on Thursdays that are public holidays. Avoid December 29–January 3 and temporary closures for exhibition preparation.
