How to get to Shinjuku Central Park

Leave JR Shinjuku through the west exit and walk about 10 minutes. On departure day, return the same way after walking, collect bags at your Shinjuku hotel and continue to the airport.

Before you visit

The park is about a 10-minute walk from JR Shinjuku’s west exit. For a departure-morning walk, leave time to return to your hotel, collect bags and travel to the airport.

Questions about Shinjuku Central Park

Are Shinjuku Central Park and Shinjuku Gyoen the same place?

No. Central Park offers free walks west of Shinjuku, with sports facilities charged separately. Gyoen is a garden with admission fees and closure days, and different entrances and access routes.
