Where should you go in Tokyo?

Compare Asakusa and Skytree for temples and views, or Ueno for animals and park walks. Combine gardens, shrine and streets around Shinjuku, Harajuku and Shibuya. For mountain scenery, take a separate day trip from Shinjuku to Mount Takao’s middle slopes. A different day from city sightseeing allows time to walk and return.
