Where should you go in Tokyo?

Consider Asakusa and Skytree for temples and views, or Ueno for animals and park walks. Group gardens, shrine visits, and street walks around Shinjuku, Harajuku, and Shibuya. For mountain scenery, take a day trip from Shinjuku to Mount Takao's mid-slope area. Give it a separate day from city sightseeing so you have time to walk and return.
