Admission: adults ¥2,500; university students ¥2,000; high school students ¥1,000; elementary and junior high school students ¥500. Adult groups of 20 or more pay ¥2,200 each. This ticket covers the Japanese gardens and exhibitions in the main building and new annex.

April–September: Adachi Museum is open 9 a.m.–5:30 p.m. October–March: it is open 9 a.m.–5 p.m. The museum opens year-round, but the new annex closes separately for exhibition changes.

How to get to Adachi Museum of Art · 足立美術館
Leave JR Yasugi Station's building and walk about 15 meters right to the free shuttle stop. The ride takes about 20 minutes. Capacity is 25, first come, first served, with no reservations. Collect a return boarding ticket for each person at the museum entrance.

Visit tips
Allow time for the Yasugi round trip
The museum is in Yasugi. From Matsue, travel to Yasugi Station before taking the shuttle. Plan around both gallery time and the return shuttle.
Collect a return-shuttle boarding ticket
For the free shuttle back to Yasugi Station, collect one boarding ticket per person at the museum entrance. The shuttle seats 25 on a first-come basis and accepts no reservations, so your preferred service may be unavailable.
New-annex exhibition changes in 2026
The new annex closes for exhibition changes October 20–23 and November 16–17, 2026. Distinguish annex closures from closure of the whole museum and check its notices for your date.
