Standard individual admission: ages 18+ and 15–17, 1,600 yen; 12–14, 1,300; 6–11, 850. High-school age and older pay 1,900 on April 27–May 7 and July 1–August 31 2026, or 1,350 December–February. Junior-high students pay 1,300 standard/peak or 1,050 off-peak; elementary students 850 standard/peak or 700 off-peak. Check age/school categories in your visiting date’s price table.
Opening hours
Reception at the front entrance is open 08:30–17:30 from March through November, with viewing until 18:30, and 08:30–16:30 from December through February, with viewing until 17:30. Reception at the elevator and Kurotani entrances is open 08:30–16:30, with viewing until 17:30. The cave is open year-round.

How to get to Akiyoshi-do Cave · 秋芳洞
Take an Akiyoshi-do-bound Bocho bus from Shin-Yamaguchi north-side terminal stand 2. Walk through the shops from Akiyoshi-do stop to the front entrance. Return from the same stop to Shin-Yamaguchi. Before setting out, check date-specific services both ways, last returns and fares. The guide’s course costs exclude these bus fares.

Footwear and your exit
Floors may be slippery and there are stairs; wear comfortable shoes with good grip. Allow about 90 minutes for viewing with a return to the front entrance, plus lunch and stop access separately. For another exit, check the route back to the bus stop first.
