Official tourism guidance does not separately list a fee for visiting the shrine grounds. Musubi stones, amulets, ema plaques, goshuin stamps, and other shrine items obtained at the office have separate charges.

How to get to Hakuto Shrine · 白兎神社
Take a Shikano-bound Route 41 Hakuto Coast Line bus from Tottori Station to Hakuto Jinja-mae · 白兎神社前. The ride takes about 40 minutes, then the shrine is about a five-minute walk away. Adult fares are ¥610 one-way or ¥1,220 round-trip. Return on a Tottori Station-bound bus. Check both directions in the timetable for your travel date.

Visit tips
Distinguish a shrine visit from office hours
Allow a suggested 30–45 minutes for a grounds walk and regular shrine visit. For amulets or inquiries, arrive during office hours, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Check booking guidance if you want to arrange a separate prayer ceremony.

Pairing the shrine with the dunes
Hakuto Shrine is west of Tottori city and cannot be linked to the dunes by a simple walk. If visiting both by bus, allow time to change at Tottori Station. Return from the shrine on a Tottori Station-bound bus.

Can I walk from Tottori Sand Dunes to Hakuto Shrine?
The two are not a single walkable sightseeing area. By bus, allow time to travel via Tottori Station and change to the Hakuto Coast Line. Choose a return from the shrine to Tottori Station as well.
