Look over the sea and surrounding mountain ridges from Enoshima Sea Candle’s observation tower. It stands inside Samuel Cocking Garden on the upper island, so you can explore the garden and visit the tower.

Admission
Tower admission is ¥800 for adults and ¥400 for elementary school students. Samuel Cocking Garden is free during daytime hours, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. On event days, leaving after 5:00 p.m. incurs a separate evening garden fee of ¥500 for adults or ¥250 for children. All Escar sections cost ¥500 for adults. The adult daytime tower and Escar set ticket costs ¥1,100 and is sold at the first Escar section’s boarding point. With the set ticket, do not add the separate ¥800 tower and ¥500 Escar fees.

Regular hours are 9:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., with last admission at 7:30 p.m.

How to get to Enoshima Sea Candle · 江の島シーキャンドル
Start from Enoden Enoshima Station or Odakyu Katase-Enoshima Station. The uphill route via Escar is listed as about 25 minutes from Enoshima Station or about 20 minutes from Katase-Enoshima Station. Even with Escar, walking remains on the way down.
Cross Enoshima Benten Bridge and enter Benzaiten Nakamise Street. Ride the three paid Escar sections to the left of the shrine’s red torii; Samuel Cocking Garden’s entrance is then on your right. The tower is inside the garden. The estimates above exclude meals, waits, the tower visit, and the walk down. When using the daytime tower and Escar set ticket, plan to leave the garden before 5:00 p.m. on event days.

You Still Need to Walk Down After Using Escar
Escar runs uphill only. You can ride it toward the upper island, but the return involves stairs and walking.
Leaving the Garden After 5 p.m. on Event Days
On event days, evening admission depends on the time you leave the garden. Leaving after 5:00 p.m. adds ¥500 for adults or ¥250 for children, separately from tower admission. To visit at daytime prices, leave the garden before 5:00 p.m. on event days.
