Visits begin at 9:00 AM. March 1–November 23: weekdays until 4:30 PM, Sundays and public holidays until 4:50 PM. November 24–the end of February: weekdays until 4:00 PM, Sundays and public holidays until 4:20 PM. Reception ends 30 minutes before closing. For Saturdays or specific event dates, check the temple's visitor guidance for that date.

Reception for paid visits ends 30 minutes before closing. Arrive with time to spare before the cutoff to see both the buildings and the Five Hundred Rakan.

Event-related visit suspensions

Paid visits are suspended December 25–January 8, the afternoon of February 2 through February 3, and April 2–4. Temple events may add further suspension dates.
