Admission
Individual admission is ¥500 for adults and ¥300 for elementary and junior high school students.
Opening hours
Entsuin opens daily. Hours are 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. from April through November, and 9:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. from December through March. The temple recommends entering at least 30 minutes before closing. Arrive by 3:30 p.m. in April–November or 3:00 p.m. in December–March to leave time for the gardens.

Entsuin is about a 5-minute walk from JR Matsushima-Kaigan Station. From JR Matsushima Station, the walk takes about 20 minutes. These are different stations with similar names, so check which one your train serves.
