Admission
Individual admission to the permanent exhibition is ¥460 for adults and college students, ¥230 for high school students, and ¥110 for elementary and junior high school students. Special exhibitions cost extra.
Opening hours
Hours are 9:00 a.m.–4:45 p.m., with last admission at 4:15 p.m. The museum closes on Mondays, except Mondays that are public or substitute holidays. It also closes the day after a public or substitute holiday, with exceptions for weekends, holidays, and certain other dates. Check the official opening calendar for your visit date.

How to get to Sendai City Museum · 仙台市博物館
Take the Tozai subway line to Kokusai Center Station. Leave through South Exit 1 and walk about 8 minutes to the museum. On Loople Sendai, get off at Hakubutsukan–Kokusai Center–Ryokusaikan-mae and walk about 3 minutes.
