Admission

Individual admission is ¥300 for adults and ¥100 for elementary and junior high school students. Elementary and junior high school students enter free on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Facility discounts with a valid sightseeing loop bus day pass have separate conditions; the 4-night / 5-day A itinerary uses standard admission.

Opening hours

Open 9:30 a.m.–6 p.m. April–September and 9:30 a.m.–5 p.m. October–March. The facility recommends entering at least 30 minutes before closing. Closed Mondays, or the following day if Monday is a public holiday. Also closed the day after public holidays; if that day falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the closure moves to Tuesday. Closed December 28–January 3. Temporary closures are possible, so check the official opening calendar.

How to get to The Niigata Saito Villa · 新潟市旧齋藤家別邸

Take the sightseeing loop bus from Niigata Station bus terminal stop 18 and get off at Hoppo Bunka Hakubutsukan Niigata Bunkan-mae. The villa is about a one-minute walk from the stop. The sightseeing loop bus runs in one direction. After visiting, take the next bus from the same stop back to Niigata Station. Adult fare is ¥260 per ride; two rides plus standard admission total ¥820. Check service and detour notices for your date.
