Admission to the keep is ¥500 for visitors ages 15 and older; junior high school students and younger enter free. A combined ticket for Korakuen Garden and the castle keep costs ¥800.
Opening hours
The keep is open 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, with last admission at 5:00 PM. It closes December 29–31 and may close temporarily for severe weather or inspections.

How to get to Okayama Castle · 岡山城
Take a streetcar bound for Higashiyama from Okayama Station and get off at Shiroshita. Walk toward the castle from the stop. If you are also visiting Korakuen Garden, follow the official grounds maps to cross between the two sites on opposite sides of the river.

Check the combined ticket if you plan to enter both Korakuen Garden and the castle keep. You do not need a keep admission ticket to see the exterior from the surrounding grounds.
