Mie in 3 Days: A Toba Day Trip or an Iga Start

For shrine visits and the aquarium without changing hotels, spend two nights in Ise. Make a Kintetsu round trip to Toba Aquarium on day 2 and visit Naiku on day 3. To start at the ninja museum, compare a night in Uenoshi followed by a move to Ise.

From Uenoshi, take Iga Railway to Iga-Kambe and transfer to Kintetsu. Search dated connections. On the final day, visit Naiku only if you can return to Iseshi Station with enough time for departure.

Stay in Ise and Make a Toba Day Trip

Spend two nights around Iseshi Station, with separate days for Geku, the aquarium, and Naiku. Keep the same hotel even when visiting Toba.

Day 1: Geku and the Station Area

Visit Geku's main sanctuary, then return to the Iseshi Station area. The itinerary begins at Iseshi Station and excludes airport round-trip costs.

  1. Iseshi Station JR-Side Exit → Geku Entrance

Follow the Geku approach in front of Iseshi Station's JR-side exit to the entrance. From your hotel, first check the route back to this approach.

Day 2: Toba Aquarium Round Trip

Make a round trip from Ise to Toba Aquarium and spend a second night at the same Ise hotel. Look up Kintetsu services in both directions for your date first.

  1. Kintetsu Iseshi Station → Kintetsu Toba Station

In the official Kintetsu search, enter Iseshi (伊勢市) to Toba (鳥羽) and your travel date. This itinerary uses regular trains rather than limited expresses. Check stops and transfers for your Toba-bound train, then use station guidance to find the platform. The adult one-way fare is ¥390; a limited express requires an extra limited-express ticket.
