Traveling From Iga to Ise
Take Iga Railway from Uenoshi to Iga-Kambe, then transfer to a Kintetsu route for Iseshi. A limited express needs a reserved-seat limited-express ticket in addition to the basic ticket.

Where Do I Board the Naiku Bus?

What Fits Before a Toba Departure?
Mikimoto Pearl Island and Kamome Promenade are each about a 5-minute walk from Toba Station, but their entrances are different. Pearl Island is a paid attraction; Kamome Promenade is a free coastal walking path. Skip the coastal walk in strong wind or heavy rain, or for an early departure, and finish at Toba Station.

Before Choosing a JR Pass
The Ise-Kumano-Wakayama Area Tourist Pass costs ¥16,500 per adult for five consecutive days and covers designated sections including the JR Sangu Line from Taki to Toba. Ise Railway differs from Iga Railway, and Kintetsu trains between Iseshi and Toba are outside the covered sections. The JR Ise-Toba Free Ticket costs ¥5,300 per adult departing from the Nagoya city area, with two-day validity, designated JR coverage, and bus-ticket exchange conditions. Do not directly compare a local partial total with a pass that includes travel from your origin.
