Mie in two days: Ise shrines or Toba attractions
For two days, choose either Ise shrine visits or Toba attractions. In Ise, visit Geku on day one and Naiku on day two before returning to Iseshi Station. In Toba, visit the aquarium first and Mikimoto Pearl Island the following day, finishing at Toba Station.
Naiku requires return bus travel, while Pearl Island has seasonal hours. Add a final-day visit only if you can return to the station in time for departure.

Checks for changing areas or leaving on the final day
Use this guidance when combining Ise, Toba and Iga. Read the items relevant to your chosen trip length and overnight areas.
Travelling from Iga to Ise
Take Iga Railway from Uenoshi to Iga-Kambe, then change to a Kintetsu route for Iseshi. The Osaka and Yamada lines connect at Ise-Nakagawa; whether you transfer there depends on your chosen service. Search transfer stations and journey times for your date. A limited express also requires a reserved-seat limited express ticket in addition to the base fare.

Where do I board the Naiku bus?
Routes 51 and 55 leave Iseshi Station-front from stand 10; Iseshi-bound buses leave Naiku-mae from stand 2. Adult fares are JPY 520 one way, or JPY 1,040 return. Other routes may use different stands. Enter your date and both stops in Mie Kotsu’s search to choose services both ways.
What should I choose on my Toba departure day?
Mikimoto Pearl Island and the Kamome promenade are each about five minutes on foot from Toba Station, but have different entrances. Pearl Island charges admission; Kamome is a free coastal walkway. Omit the coastal walk in strong wind or rain, or for an early departure, and finish at Toba Station.
Before choosing a JR transport pass
The Ise–Kumano–Wakayama Area Tourist Pass costs JPY 16,500 for adults, is valid for five consecutive days, and covers specified routes including the JR Sangu Line from Taki to Toba. Ise Railway is a different operator from Iga Railway; Kintetsu trains between Iseshi and Toba are excluded. The JR Ise–Toba Free Ticket costs JPY 5,300 for an adult starting within Nagoya city and is valid for two days, with specified JR routes and bus-ticket exchange conditions. Compare like-for-like journeys: these local-start partial subtotals exclude travel that may be included in a pass from your starting city. Decide your starting point, dates and actual routes, then check reservations and eligibility before comparing ordinary tickets. Accommodation, meals and facility admission are additional.
