For an Ise Jingu visit, compare access to Geku and Naiku first. Toba Aquarium offers marine life; Mikimoto Pearl Island has pearl exhibits and ama diving demonstrations. Geku (Toyouke-daijingu)豊受大神宮（外宮）
Walk about 5 minutes from Iseshi Station's JR-side exit to Geku's entrance. After visiting, choose a meal along the approach or around the station. This fits an arrival day starting with a shrine visit. Visiting Geku first is a long-standing custom, not a required order.

Ise Jingu Naiku
Naiku (Kotaijingu)皇大神宮（内宮）
Cross Uji Bridge and walk through the woods to visit the shrine. Naiku is not next to Geku, so allow time for the bus ride.
- AdmissionGeneral shrine visits are free. The ¥520 adult one-way bus fare from Iseshi Station to Naiku-mae is transport, not admission; a round trip on the same route costs ¥1,040.

Toba Aquarium

Watch swimming dugongs and discover marine life from Ise-Shima's seas. If rain makes a coastal walk difficult, spend time at the indoor tanks instead.

Iga-ryu Ninja Museum

Do I have to visit Geku first?
Visiting Geku first is a long-standing custom, but the order is not required. Decide around your preferred visits and route.
Does the itinerary walk from Iseshi Station to Naiku?
Take a bus from Iseshi Station to Naiku. Geku's entrance is about a 5-minute walk from the station, but Naiku is in a different area. The official October 8, 2026 search lists Iseshi-ekimae–Naiku-mae adult fares of ¥520 one way or ¥1,040 round trip; shrine visits are free. Search outbound and return services again for other dates.
