Admission
Standard admission is JPY 500 until 12 October 2026 and JPY 800 from 20 October. Revised guidance from 20 October gives free admission to high school students and younger and visitors under 18. The museum closes from 13 to 19 October.
Opening hours
The calligraphy museum opens from 9 am to 4 pm, with last admission at 3.30 pm. It closes on Mondays, or the next weekday if Monday is a public holiday. Check the official calendar for exhibition-change and year-end closures.
