Admission
The observation deck on Level 5 is free. Meals, shopping, transport and other facility charges are extra.
Opening hours
The observation tower opens from 09:00 to 21:00, with last admission at 20:50. Shops, restaurants and the indoor garden have different hours.

Views over the harbour and city
Look down over the harbour and sea from the free observation deck, then turn towards Akita city. Take time to compare both views.
How to get to Akita Port Selion
Take the Selion Line from stop 4 at Akita Station’s west-side bus terminal and alight at Selion. The ride takes about 25 minutes and costs JPY 550 per adult each way. Allow extra waiting time and the walk from the stop to the entrance. Use Port Tower’s front entrance for the deck; Rista and Plaza are separate buildings. Alternatively, walk about 2 km in about 25 minutes from JR Tsuchizaki Station. JR fares are extra.

Before you visit
Return bus after sunset
For sunset, check the weather and bus back to Akita Station together. Plan your visit around the return bus rather than staying late based only on deck hours. Check restaurant hours separately if you plan to eat there.
