Admission
Shrine visits are free. Shrine items, prayer services and neighbouring facilities cost extra. Nearby aquarium admission and shopping are also excluded.
Opening hours
The official information does not list a fixed shrine-visiting cutoff. The counter in front of the worship hall opens 7 am–4:45 pm March–October and 7 am–4 pm November–late February. Iwaya and Ryugusha counters open 9 am–4:30 pm March–October. Counter hours differ from coastal walking access.

See Meoto Iwa standing in the sea and follow the coast. This adds a sea-view walk to Ise Jingu or Toba Aquarium visits.
How to get to Futami Okitama Shrine and Meoto Iwa
Take JR’s Sangu Line to Futaminoura Station and walk about 15 minutes. By bus, leave at Meotoiwa-higashiguchi and walk about five minutes.

Check the hours of the counter you plan to use. The counter in front of the worship hall closes earlier in winter. Weather, visiting conditions and events may change its hours.
Walk the coast in daylight
Unless planning a sunrise visit, arrange the coastal walk for daylight. Check weather and event notices for your date. Sunrise viewing and evening shrine-counter visits require separate date-specific guidance.
