Admission
Individual admission is JPY 2,800 for adults, JPY 1,600 for primary and junior secondary students, and JPY 800 for preschool children aged three and over.

The aquarium usually opens from 9:30 am to 5 pm, with last admission at 4 pm. It is listed as open every day.

How to get to Toba Aquarium
Take JR or Kintetsu to Toba Station, then walk about ten minutes to the aquarium. From Kintetsu, leave the gates, use exit 1 and follow aquarium signs. Allow ticket queues separately.

Before you visit
Toba arrival time and last admission
For a late Toba arrival, allow walking and ticket queues before the aquarium’s last admission. If moving the visit to the following morning, match it with Pearl Island and your train departure from Toba.
Last admission at 4:30 pm on extended-opening days
The operating guide lists extended opening on 2–6 May, 1–28 August and 19–23 September. Hours are 9 am–5:30 pm, with last admission at 4:30 pm. Check opening notices for your actual date.

Can I enter Toba Aquarium just before closing?
Admission ends one hour before closing: usually 4 pm, or 4:30 pm on extended-opening days. Arrive by the admission deadline; arriving at closing time leaves no opportunity to visit.
