Nachi Falls

Nachi Falls is 133 metres high. The waterfall itself is the object of worship at Hiro Shrine, and you can see it from the general worship area. A separate paid platform offers a closer view facing the falls.

Admission

General worship is free. Hiro Shrine's separate paid platform costs JPY 500 for adults and JPY 200 for primary and junior secondary school children. Younger children enter free. Confirm paid admission hours at the site on the day.

How to get to Nachi Falls

From Kii-Katsuura, take Kumano Gobo Nankai Bus's Nachisan Line to Nachinotakimae, then follow the path to the falls. For the paid platform, add roughly three minutes one way from Hiro Shrine reception. That excludes the walk from the stop to reception.
