Admission
Online adult admission is JPY 2,500 weekdays or JPY 2,700 weekends and public holidays; on-site admission is JPY 2,800 or JPY 3,000 respectively. Ages 15 and under enter free. Book a date and admission time. Sold-out online tickets have no same-day on-site sales.
Opening hours
The museum opens 10:00–17:00, with last admission at 16:00. It closes Mondays; when Monday is a public holiday, it opens and closes the following day instead.

How to get to Chichu Art Museum
Take the town bus from Miyanoura to Tsutsujiso, then the free shuttle to Chichu Ticket Center and walk to the entrance. G marks the Ticket Center and shuttle stop on the official Benesse House area map. Follow the pedestrian path southwest to the separately marked museum. Ticket Center arrival is not immediate museum entry; allow the entrance walk and queue to reach your booked time.

Before you visit
Island travel around booked admission
Choose your ticket's date and time, then arrange boats and island buses that will get you there in time. The shuttle's Ticket Center stop is separate from the museum entrance; allow time for this walk.
Maintenance closure: 12 January–19 March 2027
Chichu closes for maintenance 12 January–19 March 2027. Do not schedule museum viewing then. For other dates, check the opening calendar and bookable times together.
