Admission
General admission is JPY 300 per person per day. Under-18s and eligible school students enter free under official conditions.
Opening hours
West and east gates have different hours. In October, the west gate opens 06:00–17:30 and the east gate 08:30–17:00. In April–May and September, the west gate opens 05:30–18:30 and the east gate 07:00–18:00. In June–August, the west gate opens 05:30–19:00 and the east gate 07:00–18:00. Check official monthly guidance for remaining months. The park closes 29–31 December.

A seawater moat
Former Takamatsu Castle drew seawater into its moat. Walk the park to explore the castle site and moat. Nearby port and station access lets you consider it around boat or train journeys.

How to get to Tamamo Park
The park is about three minutes' walk from JR Takamatsu. For Kotoden, get off at Takamatsu-Chikko beside the park. Remember your entrance for an easier return to the station or harbour.
