Admission
General admission costs JPY 300 per person per day. Under-18s and pupils enrolled in primary, junior and senior high schools and other eligible institutions enter free under official conditions.
Opening hours and closed days
The west and east gates have different hours. In October, the west gate opens from 06:00–17:30 and the east from 08:30–17:00. In April–May and September, the west opens from 05:30–18:30 and the east from 07:00–18:00. In June–August, the west opens from 05:30–19:00 and the east from 07:00–18:00. Check official monthly hours for other months. The park closes from 29–31 December.

The seawater moat
The former castle drew seawater into its moat. Walk the grounds to see the castle site and moat. Nearby stations/port allow a visit around your boat/train route.

How to get to Tamamo Park
About 3 minutes on foot from JR Takamatsu. With Kotoden, alight at Takamatsu-Chikko beside the park. Remember your entry gate for convenient station/harbour access afterwards.
