Admission
General facility entry is free. Paid exhibitions, hall hire, parking and transport are extra.
Opening hours
The facility usually opens 09:00–17:00, extending to 21:00 on Fridays, Saturdays and the day before public holidays. It closes Tuesdays, or the following weekday when Tuesday is a public holiday.

Summit viewing spaces
Look between the Seto Inland Sea and Takamatsu from Yashima's summit. Yashimāru lets you enjoy sea and city views together.

How to get to Yashimāru
Take a Yashima Sanjo shuttle from JR Yashima or Kotoden Yashima. After alighting, find number 11 Yashimāru on the official summit map showing the tourist car park and Yashimaji, then follow signs on foot. The facility leaflet also shows its main entrance. The official ten-minute walk starts at the summit tourist car park; route-finding after leaving the bus is extra. Adult one-way shuttles cost JPY 340 from JR Yashima or JPY 300 from Kotoden Yashima. Choose outward and downward services together from your date's official timetable. Direct services from Takamatsu Station stand 7 cost JPY 700 one way, with Saturday, Sunday, public-holiday and specified school-holiday conditions; they do not run every weekday.
