Visitor information
Admission
Individual admission to the keep, Kaitokukan, Higashi-tamon and Kairo-mon is JPY 500 for visitors aged 18 and over. Under-18s enter free with proof of age, such as a student card. A combined ticket with the Kochi Castle Museum of History is separate.
Opening hours
The keep and Kaitokukan open 09:00–17:00, with last admission at 16:30. The buildings close 26 December–1 January. Hours may be extended during events.

How to get to Kochi Castle
Take a tram from Kochi-Ekimae towards Harimayabashi. Change there to an Ino-bound tram and get off at Kochijo-mae. Walk uphill through the castle park to the keep; the route includes stairs.
