Admission

Individual admission to the keep, Kaitokukan, Higashi-Tamon and corridor gate costs ¥500 for visitors aged 18 and over. Under-18s enter free with proof of age, such as a student card. Combined admission with Kochi Castle Museum of History is separate.

Opening hours

The keep and Kaitokukan open 09:00–17:00, with entry until 16:30. They close from 26 December to 1 January. Hours may be extended during events.

How to get to Kochi Castle

From Kochi-Ekimae, take a tram to Harimayabashi. Change there to an Ino-bound tram and get off at Kochijo-Mae. Walk uphill through the castle park to the keep; the route includes steps.
