Admission

Individual admission to the keep, Kaitokukan, Higashi-Tamon and corridor gate costs JPY 500 for ages 18 and over. Under-18s enter free with age proof such as a student card. Combined Kochi Castle Museum of History tickets are separate.

The keep and Kaitokukan open from 09:00–17:00, with admission until 16:30. They close from 26 December–1 January. Events may extend hours.

How to get to Kochi Castle

From Kochi-Ekimae, take a Harimayabashi-bound tram, change there towards Ino and alight at Kochijo-Mae. Walk up through park to keep; the route has steps.
