Standard admission costs JPY 1,200; senior high school and university students pay JPY 500, and primary and junior high school students pay JPY 300. Admission may vary by exhibition. Groups of 20 or more need advance reservations.

The museum opens 10:00–17:00, with last admission at 16:30. It closes on Mondays, or the following day if Monday is a public holiday. It opens during Golden Week and Obon but closes 29 December–1 January. Exhibition changes or official warnings may cause temporary closures.
