Admission
Junior high school students and older pay JPY 1,500 return or JPY 900 one way. Primary school students pay JPY 800 return or JPY 500 one way.
Opening hours
The ropeway operates 09:00–21:00 from 1 April to 31 October and 09:00–17:30 from 1 November to 31 March. There is no regular closing day.

What to see at Bizan Ropeway
From the city to mountain views
After reaching the upper station, walk around the viewpoints for city and river views. Clouds and weather affect how far you can see.
How to get to Bizan Ropeway
Board at the lower station on Level 5 of the Kaikan and get off at the upper station. The ride takes about six minutes. Allow extra for waiting and walking around the viewpoints.
Before you visit
1 January hours and temporary suspensions
On 1 January, services run 06:00–17:30. Inspections or bad weather may suspend them; check the day's notices before departure.
Questions about Bizan Ropeway
Can I take Bizan Ropeway after a show?
After a daytime show, you can board on Level 5 of the same building. For an evening show, compare its finishing time with the ropeway's closing time first. In winter, the ropeway closes before the evening show begins.
