Admission
Admission is JPY 500 for adults, JPY 200 for junior high and high school students, and JPY 100 for primary school students. Groups of 30 or more pay JPY 400, JPY 150 and JPY 70 respectively.
Opening hours
Usual hours are 9 am–4.30 pm, with last admission 30 minutes before closing. From 10 December to 31 January, the temple is open from 9 am to 4 pm, with last admission at 3.30 pm. The official guide lists no regular closure days; check notices before visiting for events or weather changes.

How to get to Zuiryuji Temple
From Takaoka Station, leave on the south side and walk about 10 minutes to Zuiryuji. From Shin-Takaoka, the walk takes about 15 minutes. Follow the official access route for your arrival station.

The walk is about 10 minutes from Takaoka Station's south side or 15 minutes from Shin-Takaoka. The routes differ; check which station you will use before boarding your train.
Arrive earlier in winter
From 10 December to 31 January, the temple closes at 4 pm and last admission is 3.30 pm. For a late-afternoon visit, allow time to explore as well as walk from the station. Check temple notices for event or weather changes.
