Admission
Admission is JPY 500 for adults, JPY 200 for junior and senior high school students, and JPY 100 for primary school children. Groups of at least 30 pay JPY 400, JPY 150 and JPY 70 respectively.
Opening hours and closed days
Usual hours are 09:00–16:30, with last admission 30 minutes before closing. From 10 December to 31 January, hours shorten to 09:00–16:00, with last admission at 15:30. The official guide lists no regular closing day; check event and weather notices before visiting.

National Treasure buildings and connecting corridors
Explore the gate, Buddha hall and Dharma hall in sequence, looking at each building. Walking the corridors between them shows how the temple buildings connect.
How to get to Zuiryuji
From Takaoka, leave on the station’s south side and walk about ten minutes to Zuiryuji. From Shin-Takaoka, allow about 15 minutes. Follow the official access route for your arrival station.

From Takaoka Station’s south side, the walk takes about ten minutes; from Shin-Takaoka, about 15 minutes. The routes differ, so check where you will alight before taking the train.
Arrive earlier in winter
From 10 December to 31 January, closing is at 16:00 and last admission at 15:30. For a late-afternoon visit, allow visiting time as well as the station walk. Check temple notices for event or weather changes.
