Park walks and art

Arrive at Toyama Station around noon on day one for a park walk, then visit the art museum on day two. Accommodation within walking distance north of the station makes both days convenient on foot. Stay one night near the station; buses cost extra if used.

Follow the canal and waterfront at Kansui Park north of Toyama Station.

  1. Toyama Station north exit → Kansui Park

Walk about nine minutes from Toyama Station’s north exit to Kansui Park. Allow separate time for hotel-to-station travel, walking inside the station and crossing waits.

  2. Kansui Park waterfront → Tenmon Bridge and observation towers

Walk along the canal in the afternoon. Waterfront walking and park admission are free, and the park itself is always open. Tenmon Bridge and its observation towers are park landmarks, but tower hours of 09:00–21:30 differ from park access.
