Compare two days of local JR journeys

For two consecutive days around Fukuoka on covered local, rapid or limited express non-reserved seats, compare your separate fares with Fukuoka Wide. If your trip needs reserved seats or a wider Kyushu area, compare the Northern Kyushu Rail Pass instead.

This ticket stays on your smartphone: it is not exchanged for a paper pass at a station. The convenience depends on being able to open and show the active ticket when required, including while travelling.

Fare, child age and consecutive dates

The official two-day fare is JPY 3,500 for adults aged 12 or over and JPY 1,750 for children aged 6–11. JR Kyushu uses age on the first effective date. Check any seller-specific age condition as well; do not convert the operator fare into AUD.

The two days must be consecutive. Activate the ticket when beginning use, not simply to inspect it in advance: activation changes its cancellation status.

Covered sections and excluded trains

Use the official English map for the Fukuoka Wide boundary, including Mojiko. The listed Sonic section is Hakata–Kokura–Yukuhashi and the listed Yufu section is Hakata–Kurume. Those service names do not establish coverage all the way to Yufuin or Huis Ten Bosch.

The Sanyo Shinkansen Hakata–Kokura, Kyushu Shinkansen Hakata–Kurume, other companies’ railways, subways and buses are excluded. Green Car, DX Green and private Green compartments are not eligible.

For an Ordinary Car reserved seat, the official English FAQ requires a separate base-fare ticket and reserved-seat limited express ticket before boarding. Ask the counter for the applicable tickets and charges rather than assuming you only pay the seat difference.

Open the ticket for the channel you bought from

For a LINKTIVITY-channel purchase, open the dedicated ticket URL sent by email. For a my route purchase, select the ticket under my ticket → Purchased Tickets & Reservations in the app. These are different ticket-access procedures; do not try to register one channel’s ticket using the other channel’s steps.

Check the dates and travellers, then select Activate when ready to begin. Keep the smartphone charged and connected to the internet so the live validity timer is visible. A screenshot cannot be used for boarding.

Show the active screen at a staffed gate

Use the staffed passage and show the live browser or app ticket screen and passport. This is not a ticket for automatic gates. Onboard, show the ticket when asked and tell staff where you intend to get off.

If a problem on your side prevents you from showing the ticket, the operator requires the separate fare for the section travelled. Check connectivity before use rather than relying on a saved image.

Refunds before activation and smartphone problems

The official refund condition is a JPY 440 fee per ticket before activation, the same for adults and children. After activation, refunds are not accepted. For a travel-agency purchase, also check that seller’s package cancellation conditions.

A broken or lost smartphone is not a refund reason. Changes after purchase are not offered in the official FAQ; it directs customers to refund and buy again under the applicable conditions. Do not activate a ticket as a test.
