At Churaumi’s Kuroshio Sea tank, see whale sharks and manta rays swimming. View the large front window, then look up at fish from the Aqua Room. The aquarium is in Ocean Expo Park in northern Motobu.

Standard adult ¥2,180; high school ¥1,440; elementary/junior high ¥710. Preschool children under six are free; school categories use Japan’s April boundary. Tropical Dream Center and paid sightseeing vehicles cost extra. Aquarium admission does not apply across all Ocean Expo Park.
Opening hours
Regular hours 08:30–18:30, last entry 17:30. Official guidance lists no planned closures through 31 March 2027. Check dated notices for temporary closures or hour changes.

Two perspectives on the Kuroshio tank
The front window shows the large whale shark/manta tank. The Aqua Room offers views from below, giving different perspectives on the same Kuroshio Sea tank.
How to get to Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium
Take northbound Yanbaru Express from the Prefectural Office North Entrance stop to Kinen-koen-mae, then walk roughly 10 minutes to the aquarium. Fares differ between Naha Airport and Prefectural Office North Entrance boarding.

Visiting tips
Choose your return bus before sightseeing
For a Naha bus day trip, choose your return service before planning sightseeing. Allow walking back to Kinen-koen-mae afterwards. Check both journeys in the timetable applicable to your date.

Separate aquarium and garden tickets
Tropical Dream Center is in the same park but excluded from ordinary aquarium admission. Allow each facility’s admission and visit time when pairing them.

Can I enter Tropical Dream Center with an aquarium ticket?
No; it needs separate admission. Old half-price guidance for ordinary aquarium tickets differs from current conditions. Official half-price eligibility is for aquarium annual-pass holders.
