Admission

General admission: adults ¥700, elementary and junior high school students ¥300, preschool children free. Disability-handbook holders pay ¥300 on presenting the handbook. Zazen and overnight experiences have separate conditions and fees.

How to get to Eiheiji

Take the Eiheiji Liner from east-side stop 1 and get off at Eiheiji, followed by about a 5-minute walk to the visitor entrance. It runs daily without seat reservations. Full buses cannot accept more passengers; allow waiting time. Fares revised 1 October 2026 are ¥1,000 for adults and ¥500 for children one way.

Indoor stairs and stroller restrictions

There are indoor stairs and strollers cannot enter. Ask the temple about stroller storage or walkable areas for anyone who has difficulty with stairs.
