How to get to Ichijodani Asakura Family Site Museum
Take JR’s Etsumi-Hoku Line, also called the Kuzuryu Line, from Fukui to Ichijodani. Walk about 3 minutes to the museum. Train riding takes about 15 minutes. Check your Fukui-bound return time.
Visiting tips
Adding the reconstructed streets
The streets are separate from the museum. Allow time for both exhibitions and travel if visiting both. A free Karamon-bound shuttle is listed for Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 4 April to 29 November 2026. Check weekday alternatives in official museum access guidance.
