Admission
Walking through Ogimachi village is free. Interior admission varies by house; Wada House costs JPY 400 for junior high school students and older and JPY 200 for elementary school students. Other houses, the open-air museum and parking cost extra.

Opening hours
Village walks have no fixed entry hours. Public houses have their own hours and closing days. Wada House opens 09:00–17:00.

How to get to Shirakawa-go Ogimachi Gassho Village
Take a Shirakawa-go bus from Takayama Nohi Bus Centre to Shirakawa-go Bus Terminal. The ride takes about 50 minutes. Some departures require reservations; check requirements separately for your outward and return journeys.

Do not enter private homes, land or fields closed to visitors. Only explore interiors within designated visitor areas of houses open as attractions.
