Junior high age and older: ¥2,500 return/¥1,550 one way. Elementary: ¥700 return/¥450 one way. Preschool free. Rates revised 1 August 2026.

Opening hours
Basic first departure 09:00. Last service: March–early November 16:20; mid-November–February 15:40. Riding takes roughly 10 minutes each way; check dated downward times. Winds of 25 m/s or more, poor weather and maintenance may suspend service.

Gourd Line from Summit Park Station
Walk near Summit Park Station on the Gourd Line. Enjoy mountain views after leaving the ropeway, using only open sections according to weather/trail guidance.
How to get to Hakkoda Ropeway
Take a JR bus towards Lake Towada/Sukayu to ロープウェー駅前, adult one-way ¥1,290. Autumn/winter routes and reservations differ; check both journeys for your date. Eligible winter Aomori/Shin-Aomori departures need advance reservations plus ¥300 fee per ride. The notice does not accept reservations for Aomori-bound returns from the ropeway stop.

October first departures move to 08:30 weekdays or 08:15 weekends/public holidays. Planned maintenance/power-work suspension 8–20 November 2026; omit ropeway visits then.
