The park has free and paid areas. Honmaru/northern areas: 1 April–23 November adults ¥320/children ¥100; listed free 24 November–31 March. Botanical garden: mid-April–23 November adults ¥320/children ¥100. Combined Honmaru/northern areas, botanical garden and Fujita Memorial Garden: adults ¥520/children ¥160. Check construction/event-related dated operation with park guidance.
Opening hours
Free areas are listed open 24 hours. Basic paid-area hours: 1 April–23 November 09:00–17:00, extended to 07:00–21:00 during the cherry-blossom festival. Honmaru/northern areas also have 24 November–31 March closure guidance; check management notices for accessible winter areas.

How to get to Hirosaki Park
Walk towards Dotemachi to Otemon, roughly 30 minutes from Hirosaki Station. Hotel approaches and park walking add separate time.
Visiting tips
Keep closure and construction areas
Keep interiors have been closed since 24 November 2025 for an unspecified period. Some southern Honmaru sections restrict access until around 31 March 2027 with temporary-stair detours. Hitsujisaru turret surroundings are closed. Follow management notices and local detours.
