Visitor information
Admission
General admission ¥500; university students and equivalent ¥250; high school age and younger free. Special exhibitions have separate fees.
Opening hours
09:00–17:00, extended to 18:00 during Golden Week and June–September. Last entry 30 minutes before closing. Closed on the fourth Monday each month, or the next day for public holidays, 30 December–1 January and scheduled maintenance days.

Pottery, clay figures and reconstructed-life displays introduce Jomon daily life. Visit indoors first, then walk the site to connect exhibits with the ruins.
How to get to Sannai-Maruyama Historical Site
Board at west-side stop 2 and get off at 三内丸山遺跡前. Adult ¥300 per ride. Walk roughly one minute from the stop; go from the roundabout to Jomon Jiyukan’s ticket/entry area. Check your post-visit bus before leaving.
