How to get to Lake Towada Yasumiya shore
Prefectural tourism lists roughly 15 minutes from stop to statue; environment ministry five from central Yasumiya to shrine. Different starting points mean the full walk is not necessarily 20 minutes. If adding boats or Oirase, check operation times and return transport separately.

Take a JR bus towards Lake Towada, checking dated returns before leaving. Winter Aomori routes end at Sukayu, without Yasumiya service. Western-shore Towada Hotel is roughly 15 minutes by reserved shuttle from Yasumiya. Reserve by around 22:00 the previous night; no reservation means no service. Check other hotels’ conditions directly.
Hotel–Yasumiya: 08:30, 09:30, 10:30; Yasumiya–hotel: 15:00, 16:00, 17:00. Reserved services run at fixed times, subject to unannounced change. Confirm return availability for lakeside walks during your stay.
